GKV Architects designed an advertising agency’s new offices located in the heart of New York City. This advertising agency’s office spans approximately 22,000 sf with open views of the city. The overall design approach was to create a creative open office with comfortable, flexible spaces that can be used for collaboration and team meetings. The reception area incorporates art and a bespoke sculptural desk, creating hospitality-like settings. To prevent the open office plan from looking monotonous, we captured certain areas and made them distinct to create interesting moments and experiences throughout the space. GKV designed an open lounge area with custom banquettes that can be used for working or breakout spaces. This area includes a sleek coffee bar and soft lounge seating. There is also a full pantry that gives the office a pop of color and retro vibe.
