A Message of Solidarity

In the face of Injustice, GKV commits to supporting equality and opportunity for all.  Diversity, inclusion and respect for the individual are part of GKV’s core values. In our work as architects, with a responsibility to protect the Health, Safety and Welfare of all people, we strive to create built environments that contribute to the quality of life for ALL people. 

On behalf of our staff, and in support of our Black colleagues and all Minorities, we resolve to work to improve opportunities, mentorship and professional development.  For our larger community, we commit to increase our outreach to the less privileged.

GKV will continue our long tradition of awarding scholarships to architecture students at the City College of New York. We will continue to attend career fairs at local High Schools to share information about our profession, and we will seek out similar opportunities in underserved communities. We commit to support charitable organizations that focus on equality, anti-racism and empowerment. 

GKV supports the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for its statement on Systemic Racial Injustice.
