FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY

Located at One World Trade Center, this federal government agency occupies a total of 270,000 square feet. The design of this interior fit-out included an open plan with private offices, conferencing and meeting spaces, support spaces, and open and closed pantries. There are minimal permanent assignments of workspaces in these offices due to employees going to and from the field consistently. GKV designed a locker system for each employee for storage of personal or work items and assisted the client in organizing a hoteling office structure, where work stations are selected on a day-to-day basis as needed. This resulted in a more efficient, equal and communal work environment.

Recipient of the 2016 GSA National Design Award, awarded to only a select number of architecture firms in recognition of the outstanding contribution to excellence in design.
