Located in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania, GKV transformed the interior of a former bowling alley into a 55,000 square foot office and studio space for a digital media magazine company. Exposed concrete floors, black honed countertops, and a Shou Sugi Ban wood wall complements the industrial feel. A key inspiration was to bring the outdoors inside, including a racetrack and exterior building materials. This encompasses a workshop and bike storage room, to store and test bicycles for subsequent reviews. Metal roofing panels clad the walls of the workshop. The interior office fit-out includes reception, lounge/pantry area, open workstations, collaboration rooms, and conference rooms.
